Time is Ticking, the Tension is High, and the Ultimate Showdown Between Good and Evil is About to Explode

Review: The Lone Ranger Blu-ray + DVD, Plus Bonus Clip and Film Stills
 Focused on the Magic Disclosure

If you've been looking forward to seeing THE LONE RANGER starring
Johnny Depp (Tonto) and Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger) now is your chance. It's available on Blu-ray Combo Pack, Digital HD, and On-Demand as of December 17, 2013.
It’s a fun adventure film that takes you on a wild ride of action, explosions and gunfights. I was looking forward to seeing it as I grew up on TV westerns and The Lone Ranger TV show was one of my favorites to watch. I don't think I ever knew the backstory of The Lone Ranger. I watched it for the action and the horses. The Lone Ranger's beautiful albino horse, Silver was a star in the show for me.
This thrilling adventure is infused with action and humor, and follows the tale of the famed masked hero brought to life through new eyes.

This movie is full of surprises and amazing stunts!

What I didn't expect was that it would be so funny. The Lone Ranger (Hammer), was a surprisingly good comedian. Johnny Depp who showed his Jack Sparrow swagger and comedic talents was unrecognizable as Tonto. So ladies, if you are a fan of his good looks you may be disappointed. Armie Hammer on the other hand makes for a handsome cowboy and provides the movies eye candy. This is not a romance movie which was a pleasant surprise. There are action packed showdowns between good and evil.
My favorite scenes were the stunt scenes while riding Silver (no surprise there;) and the action scenes on the runaway train as these two unlikely heroes learned to work together. As you can see from the still pictures below the western scenery was breathtaking.
Not to be missed are the bonus features. I usually skip them but really enjoyed the behind the scenes look, especially the bonus feature Becoming a Cowboy
