Welcome to another edition of the The Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop here at Focused on the Magic.com where each week Disney Bloggers hop, link up and share their Disney Wordless Wednesday or Almost Wordless Wednesday Disney related picture posts.
It's a fun blog hop for sharing your Disney memories and captures. There's a theme each week that you can follow if you wish. Facebook picture, Twitter, Tumblr, Reddit, Flickr or video posts are all welcome.
This week's theme is Disney transportation. All the things that get us to wherever it is we are going or takes us around and right back to where we started. I chose a picture of one of my favorite forms of transportation in the Magic Kingdom, the horse drawn trolley.
Did you know that the trolley horses wear special plastic horse shoes to protect their feet and to prevent wear and tear on the street? Yea, I didn't know that either till I heard it on Lou Mongello's Audio Guide to Walt Disney World-Main Street CD. It's filled with all sorts of great trivia.
Another favorite form of transportation is the monorail. I can't wait to take our next ride in September.
What's your favorite form of Disney transportation?
Time to link up your post ...
Please keep in mind you don't have to post along with the theme, but your picture post does have to be Disney related. This is a Disney WW Blog Hop afterall!

Have a Happy Hop!
Beautiful! I've never ridden the horse drawn trolleys but it does seem very relaxing. Love that monorail picture - very postcard worthy!
ReplyDeleteI love when we get there early enough to ride the Trolley. And the monorail was always something we would ride the first night just to get into the "I'm in WDW" frame of mind.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb for hosting , Great pics. I love the horse and buggy at MK
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the horses and trolleys on Main Street. Great photos! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, the horse drawn trolley adds so much Victorian charm to the Magic Kingdom. The best time to see it is at park opening.
ReplyDeleteWe ride the monorail "first thing" too! It gets us right in to the WDW spirit!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, and thanks for visiting. I know you are so busy right now. Have a great trip!!
ReplyDeleteThe trolley is such a wonderful bit of Disney Magic! For the longest time I thought they'd done away with them! Then I realized I had only gone through a stage where rising early was never on my agenda! Very glad that I enjoy mornings again!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot with the red monorail and red flowers! That needs to be framed!
Thank you so much for hosting the magic :) The Epcot photo would make a beautiful wall hanging.
ReplyDeleteAmazing shots, love the horse close up. I love when the trolley is out - hearing the hooves go down Main Street. Thanks for hosting again.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb, I missed last week being so busy, I have a few minutes last night and found some great pics. Thanks for the well wishes..
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love those horse pics!!! My hubby has a similar eye pic (not of a Disney horse) that won an editor's choice award. Beautiful, Deb!
ReplyDeleteI've never had a ride on the trolley either but I love watching it - your photo of the horse and trolley is beautiful! Thanks for hosting the hop!
ReplyDeleteonce again, I love the theme and your shots!!! :)
ReplyDeleteStill haven't ridden that trolley even though I talk about it every trip! Really must get to it on our next trip. Love the monorail picture - looks like it was a perfect Disney day that day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, as always, for a wonderful blog hop theme this week!
The horse drawn trolleys were the only reason that I ever used the "A" tickets when I was young. Everybody would give me their "A"s and my sister and I would just ride up and down Main Street. Great memories. Thanks for the beautiful pics (and hosting, of course).
ReplyDeleteOh, Deb... I have such a soft spot for horses. And I LOVE that close up!!!
ReplyDeleteBoy Deb- I wish ALL my Disney trips were one way!! ;)
