It's time for the Thursday Disney blog hop over at Babes in Disneyland....this week's theme is joy! Stop by and check out all the Joy filled post!!
Christmas is a joyful season and in The Magic Kingdom there's an extra magical feeling in the air. On this night we were with a large group of Disney friends from CA. watching the special MVMCP parade and making quite a bit of noise;) It was great night with the snow falling on Main Street and everyone was in a joyous mood. I snapped this shot of Santa riding down Main Street, USA in the Magic Kingdom as he approached us. Just as I snapped it Santa shouted down from high atop his sleigh "Happy Birthday Peter!" to my son. Through the loud music and cheering group we all heard clearly. Presently, my son is a young man but when Santa said those words he was reduced to a little boy in awe and amazement. The look on his face was pure joy!

ReplyDeleteHow awesom that you can meet santa in july! I love that! What a great marketing idea! If I were down there I would definatly do it! The kids would LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI would have been awed and amazed too if I got a personal message from Santa in his sleigh!
ReplyDeleteWe've been lucky enough to visit WDW three times during the Christmas celebration (never actually on Christmas) and I just LOVE all the lights. Joy, is a good word to describe it all.
Don't expect I'll ever get to see Santa there in July, but I did sit next to him once at the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. ;o)
