For this week's theme, we are getting in our Wayback Machine and going way-way back to the 1964-65 World's Fair in New York which was my one of my very first Disney attraction experiences.
I was fortunate to visit the NY Word's Fair with my grandmother, mom, and uncle. We didn't know what to expect but I thought at the time that it must be good if so many people were waiting in such a long line in the blazing August sun. Once inside the cool dark theater, it was a refreshing as it is today.
The revolving stage and Audio-Animatronics were amazing and left a big impression.
The last time I saw Carousel of Progress I was with a great group of my blogging buddies during the Type-A Parent Conference making it even more special.
Here's a link to my blog, Deb's Dose of Disney and my genealogy blog in 2005 captured by the real Internet Archive Wayback Machine.
