This week's Wordless Wednesday picture is a little different. I started the week off posting on Beth's On Safari in Harambe series, and that got me into the safari mood so I thought I'd continue the Kilimanjaro Safari Adventure. I couldn't decide on just one photo for my calendar shot, so I made a photo montage of a few.
I realized while doing this project:
#1 I need some serious help with my scrap booking!
#2 I have enough animal pictures to fill a book!
I'd like to thank my friend Mary at Capturing Magical Memories for generously sharing the safari embellishments with me and for inspiring to get back to scrap booking.
Welcome to our happy hop!

I love your layout! Your photos and Mary's embellishments - just beautiful! You two should go into business together!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Beth!! Ever since you started your series all I can think about is scrapping Kilimanjaro Safari! Peter and I found pictures I didn't even know i had!! I'd love to team up with Mary!! She's so incredibly talented!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great page!! I agree with Beth!
ReplyDeleteAw shucks on the complement and Deb this is a great page. A little journaling left of the rhino and I would call that an A+ page. I also loved Peter had his hand in it. We do need to come up with something. A photo book of some sorts? We need to put our thinking hats on. : )
ReplyDeleteThis is great, Deb. Gives me a few ideas for page layouts for both my "Disney" safari pics and the "real" pics from my South African safari from 2006 :) Now to find some time...
ReplyDeleteI would buy it! :-)
ReplyDeleteMe too! I have been so motivated to get scrapping. I think I was feeling so overwhelmed with how far behind I am, but with the new series each month, it has given me focus and a place to start! :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Holly! Your South African safari sounds like it was a great adventure!! Looking for to seeing pics! The #Disney safari is about as close to a real safari as I'll ever be. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the embellishments~
ReplyDeleteNew here! I am going to find you on facebook so that I can have the "right" picture for Wednesday of next week!
ReplyDeleteAnd like you, I have a million safari pictures. Last time we were there, I tried to not take any pictures and just enjoy the ride - but it's an impossible task :-)
He has hair on his ears! I had no idea that rhinos had such fuzzy ears. Love the layout. Nice pics!!
ReplyDeleteI know, I was amused to see the fuzzy eared rhino! He's cute in and ugly sort of way!
ReplyDeleteWe definitely need to put our Mouse Ear Thinking caps on;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome page Deb, Love the Rhino
ReplyDeleteVery cool collection, Deb! I Tweeted this today & forgot to link up. Here now! :) Thanks for hosting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane! He looks so mellow doesn't he? Lazy day at Animal Kingdom.
ReplyDeleteAmazing shots Debs! And I love the layout! :) x
ReplyDeleteI think you did a lovely job :) I still do "old-school" scrapbooking, with a glue stick! ha
ReplyDeleteThanks Tami, I still do scrapping "old school" too:) It's fun either way but digital is a less messy!
ReplyDeleteThanks Manda! It's a simple layout but I'm still a novice scrapper;)
ReplyDeleteI saw that you had, thank you! I was wondering if you were going to link up and am glad you did. I love the wishing well picture with Snow White! That is so special!
ReplyDeleteWe just got back and (for the first time) didn't have time to visit the Animal Kingdom. I was missing it, until I saw your photos!! :D
ReplyDeleteThank you D! We rarely miss it but when we do I always regret it when I get home.
